The perl programs coming with the Koha library system which are to be used only from the command line.

The Koha Command Line Utilities

• bulkmarcimport.pl (Located at ./intranet/cgi-bin/acqui.simple/) This command line utility is used for importing bulk marc data into the Koha system. (But where is the manual?).

Usage: perl bulkmarcimport.pl <filename>

• barcodes.pl (Located at ./intranet/cgi-bin/) It's a command line script that can generate postscript barcode labels (80 per page to fit 4×20 Avery Return Address labels sheets).

Usage: perl barcodes.pl ?? Note for linux users : you can take a look at kbarcode.sourceforge.net, nice front-end for label and barcode printing

• marc/updatedb2marc.pl (Located at ./intranet/cgi-bin/marc/) : used to migrate a 1.2 db to a 1.3/2.0 one
